Educators and leaders continue to face pressing challenges from addressing issues with daily learning and operations to navigating increasingly volatile variables from outside the school environment to staying current with best practices. Through all this, it is expected for educators and leaders to remain knowledgeable, malleable, and vigilant. This presentation will look at real examples of crisis events education had to face and navigate, review best practices in maintaining ethical leadership in an increasing politically motivated environment, share strategies in how leaders can best operate in a transparent, collaborative and consistent manner, and facilitate discussion in how educators and leaders can still move forward for the betterment of students and their profession.
